Our lab had a great gathering of alums and current students getting together. I am glad to see that all of our graduates are doing well. Current students had a good chance to learn about their jobs and internship opportunities.
Prof. Washizaki provided his keynote titled “SWEBOK Guide and Software Services Engineering Education” at the IEEE Symposium on Services and Software Engineering Education (part of SERVICES 2025) in Helsinki. And he was honored to join the celebration of Prof. Stephen Yau’s birthday and long-time leadership and achievements.
Prof. Washizaki joined the celebration of Sorel Reisman’s happy retirement from the IEEE COMPSAC Standing Committee Chair, held at the 49th IEEE COMPSAC 2025 in Toronto. Furthermore, Prof. Washizaki provided his keynote titled “Impact of IEEE Computer Society in Advancing Emerging Technologies, including LLM/AI and Software Engineering.”
Our paper titled “Translating Requirements into CARLA Executable Scripts: An LLM-Driven Automated Scenario Realization” got accepted for IEEE R10 HTC 2025.
Two teams from our lab participated in the EWE student bowling competition 2025, and one of the teams got the 1st place (among 25 teams). Congrats! It is always great to have these student-centered social activities to get connected and have fun. Big thanks go to its organizers and supporters.
