As the Program Director of the W-SPRING-AI, JST BOOST-funded Waseda University’s Next-generation AI Talent Development Program, Prof. Washizaki gave his remarks at the W-SPRING (led by the next University President, Prof. Takayuki Homma)/W-SPRING-AI Ph.D. Forum, which was organized by Prof. Toru Asahi and the committee. The forum was attended by the MEXT Director-General of Science and Technology Policy, Mr. Takashi Kiyoura; keynote speaker Dr. Junko Iida; and the current president, Prof. Aiji Tanaka, as well as distinguished guests and mentors from industry/govement/academia.
From our lab, Yijun Lu and his teammates presented their funded joint research project. Haowei Cheng, Weitao Pan, and Yuwei He presented their posters. Yuwei received the Outstanding Poster Award. Congrats!
Prof. Washizaki is honored to receive the JSSST Research Award, which recognizes nearly 25 years of research achievements, particularly in software patterns and reuse, quality assurance, and machine learning engineering.
