Lab end-year getting together and casual party remotely on Dec 27th 2021

Laboratory held the end-year getting together and casual party remotely on Dec 27th 2021. We reviewed the achievements of this year and envisioned next year. In short, we did great this year as follows, and will do better and more next year!

  • Team: 3 professors, 1 lecturer, 1 researcher, 4 Ph.D. candidates, 11 master, 10 undergraduates, 1 non-degree student, 18 research project students. Good number and diversity.
  • Funded projects: 18 including enPiT-Pro, SmartSE DX-WG, JST eAI, JSPS Mutual, JSPS  KAKENHI, and other industry funded projects. Good number. We need to enlarge each project.
  • Papers: 11 journal papers (10 publish + 1 acceptance) incl. IEEE Computer (IF=2.7) and Mathematics (IF=2.3).  23 international conference papers (21 publish + 2 acceptance) incl. ICSME (CORE Rank A) and HICSS (Former CORE Rank A). Good number. We need to have more CORE Rank A/A+ conference papers.
  • Community leading: Prof. Washizaki has served as IEEE-CS Vice President, ISO WG Convenor, APSEC Steering, CSEE&T Steering, IPSJ-SIGSE Chair, TETC Editor, IJSEKE Editor, METI Report member.
