Prof. Washizaki as 1st Vice President joined the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors in Washington DC

This month on Nov 1st and Nov 2nd, the IEEE Computer Society Board of Governors had a great meeting in Washington, DC, to reflect on what we have done and envision future directions. Surprisingly, thanks to Eric and other IEEE-CS directors and experts, we had a cake to celebrate the SWEBOK Guide V4! This year is particularly special since Prof. Washizaki has been delighted to work with distinguished volunteers, experts, and leaders in IEEE-CS as well as other societies and entities, including ISO/IEC and IPSJ, to make advancements in technical society organization, community building and engagement, and technology envisionment. And by having much encouragement and support, Prof. Washizaki had a chance to be elected IEEE-CS President-Elect and President in the years ahead. Thank you all, and looking forward to years ahead to collaborate and work together.
