On behalf of the IEEE Computer Society, Prof. Washizaki has been delighted to join the celebration of the 100th World & 50th Thai Quantum S&T Anniversary, organized by the IEEE Thailand Section Quantum IT group, by providing his remarks and talk, referring to the IEEE CS’s programs and activities in quantum computing.

Prof. Washizaki joined the 32nd Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Conference (APSEC 2025, General Chairs Xiapu Luo (Daniel), Tao Zhang, PC Chairs Jacky Keung, Eunjong Choi) to co-chair the Tutorial track together with Cuiyun Gao, and provide my opening remarks. This is the first time to have the IEEE Computer Society as its technical sponsor! Thanks to Macau University of Science and Technology, Macao Convention & Exhibition Association, and all others for sponsoring this conference. Thanks to IEEE CS Macao Chapter (chaird by Daniel) and Hong Kong Chapter (chaired by Jacky), for supporting this. IEEE CS Macau Chapter Forum was also held.

At HKUST, Hong Kong, Huawei Huang, Dusit Niyato, Yi Sun, and Hironori Washizaki organized the BlockNetSys 2025: ACM CoNEXT Workshop on Blockchain-Network Synergy. Thanks to all participants and contributors, notably Yijun Lu and other supporters, we had a great start to the community, bridging different but related areas such as Blockchain, networks, AI, and autonomous systems. Prof. Washizaki presented his keynote there.
