Prof. Washizaki will run for IEEE Computer Society 2021-2023 Board of Governors Election. It will take place in this Aug 3-Sep 21. His position statements incl. (1) Building Bodies of Knowledge incl. SWEBOK in the era of smart systems and computing, (2) Digital support in COVID-19 era, (3) Membership promotion incl. students and young professionals, and (4) Expanding academia-industry-government-society collaborations. 鷲崎教授がIEEE Computer Society理事候補に選出されました。選挙8-9月。これまでIEEE CS では Professional & Educational Activities Board にて長く活動機会を得て、特にソフトウェアエンジニアリング知識体系SWEBOK の改訂をリードして参りました。SWEBOK 約20年の歴史において北米外からのリードは私が初めてになります。IEEE CS Japan Chapterでは長く役員を務め、Chair を一定期間務めてまいりました。またIEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing の Assoc. Editor、様々な IEEE/IEEE CS 主催会議のステアリング委員、プログラム委員長を務めてまいりました。

抱負として、(1) SWEBOK 改訂を代表としたスマートシステム・コンピューティング時代にふさわしい知識体系の構築と展開、(2) 困難な時代におけるリモート会議環境やデジタルライブラリアクセスに代表される学会からのデジタルサポートの充実、(3) 特に若手や学生を中心とした会員の拡大、(4) 他のソサエティを含む産学官連携の拡充、を掲げております。抱負の全文はこちらからご覧いただけます。宜しければぜひご支援のほど何卒宜しくお願い致します。
